Military grieving dogs.

Soldiers most often leave their dogs behind in the states. Letting family take care of them. It does not surprise me that when their soldier is killed in action. The dog needs to be involved during his funeral. Pets need closure also by showing them the casket or taking them to the grave sites. In the way the dog will know that he is not coming home. Than he can grieve. In his own way. There has been televised videos showing a grieving dog laying in front of his soldier caskets.
